The Charlie III, Capt. Schreiner’s grandson, was a ranching visionary who saved Texas Longhorn cattle from near extinction and introduced exotic wildlife to the Texas Hill Country landscape. The rustic room is equipped with two queen beds and a private bathroom with a shower. This cabin is equipped with a flat-screen TV, coffee pot, and a sitting area. The Charlie III Cabin connects with the Y.O. Ranch Headquarters Suite, which was Kerr County’s first Post Office and has a daybed, a sitting area, and a fireplace. All the rooms at the Y.O. Ranch Headquarters are designed to help you unwind after a day of enjoying all the activities the ranch has to offer.
