The historic Boone Cabin, made of elm logs eight inches across, was once a valued place of food and comfort to stage line travelers between San Antonio and points west in the I 870's. Originally built at Waring, Texas, the Boone Cabin was the first of the now famous Y.O. Ranch Headquarters restorations of historic Texas buildings. It is the Ranch's policy to make its historic cabin restorations useful and comfortable as well as authentic and colorful.
